A 29-YEAR-old man had his case adjourned due to illness.
Bobby Smith, of Orchard Grove, Littleworth, near Worcester, was due to be sentenced at Worcester Magistrates Court on Thursday, (April 20).
Smith had previously admitted assault by beating which took place in Worcester on October 26 last year.
And Smith had also pleaded guilty to theft from a shop.
That offence took place at the Co-op in Lichfield Avenue, Worcester, on October 30 - Smith stealing £30 worth of laundry products.
The court heard that previously another assault Smith had denied had been discontinued on the day of trial.

At the start of the latest hearing Paul Stanley, defending, said Smith had contacted him to say he couldn't attend court during to having a sickness bug, asking for an adjournment.
Kevin Lloyd-Wright, chairman of the magistrates bench, said magistrates had agreed to grant the adjournment with the case now to be heard on Thursday, (April 27).
Smith has conditional bail.
