A ROAD in north Worcestershire which was closed after a tree was blown down has reopened.
The A451 Kidderminster to Stourport road was closed after the large tree came down near the former sugar beet factory at about 11.25am this morning, completely blocking the road.
Congestion was reported in the area as drivers tried to turn around, with motorists asked to use alternative routes.
It is not believed anyone was injured.
The road reopened at 2.30pm after Worcestershire County Council Highways arranged for the tree to be moved.
