OFFERS of help for a mother in desperate need of a kidney have continued to pour in from as far afield as the United States of America.
Sally-Anne Grainger, from Swallowfields, Warndon Villages, Worcester said she had been so overwhelmed by the response to her plight she has been brought to tears many times.
Miss Grainger needs a kidney transplant after strong medication used during her double lung transplant left her with with renal failure.
Her search for a live donor, which featured in your Worcester News last month, has been shared around the world and Sally-Anne has received lots of offers of support.
Letters were sent out last week to people who had got in touch with the paper interested in becoming a live donor.
People who wish to donate a kidney to Miss Grainger need to have the blood type O positive.
Miss Grainger said: "I've had interest from all over even as far away as the United States of America.
"I've been completely humbled by the response - it's overwhelming."
