QUIZ the deputy West Mercia Police and Crime Commissioner during a Question Time-style event next month.

Barrie Sheldon will take questions during a discussion of crime and the criminal justice system in the Cotswold Suite at the University of Worcester's St John's campus from 5.30pm on Friday, March 7.

Mr Sheldon will be joined by chief superintendent Amanda Blakeman of West Mercia Police; chief crown prosecutor Harry Ireland, the head of commissioning for West Mercia youth offending service Philip Kendrick, Worcestershire Probation Service's deputy head of services Les King and he Mayor of Worcester, cllr Pat Agar.

John Ryan, the University of Worcester’s secretary and pro vice chancellor, will chair the evening, which has been organised by Ruth Jones as part of the work of the National Centre for the Study and Prevention of Violence and Abuse.
