THE gates to two charming private gardens will be open to the public as part of the National Gardens Scheme (NGS)

Visitors will have the chance to see rare trees and a perry wheel at New House Farm, Elmbridge Lane, Elmbridge, on Saturday, May 10 and Sunday, May 11 from 2pm to 4.30pm.

Teas will be available and there will also be a plant clearance sale.

Entrance costs £4 adults and children free.

Also opening to visitors that weekend will be Shuttifield Cottage, Birchwood, Storridge between 1.30pm and 5pm.

The beautiful plantsman's garden has superb views and a 20 acre ancient woodland.

There is a deer park and it will be featured on BBC's Gardeners' World.

Shuttifield Cottage will also be open on Saturday, May 13 and entrance costs £3 adults and children free.
