THE front door of a home in Elgar Avenue in Malvern was smashed in late Tuesday night.
The single panel was smashed between 11.30pm and 11.39pm and witnesses reported seeing a person fleeing the area carrying a baseball bat and wearing a balaclava.
This person was also reported to get into the passenger seat of a silver Ford Ka.
