PEOPLE in Worcester are being encouraged to take time out to relax on Friday.
A national poll, carried out by YouGov for the Canal and River Trust, found that 38 per cent of people in the West Midlands feel they don't have enough time to relax.
The trust is urging people to relax for two minutes every hour on Friday, which is National Relaxation Day, whether they chose to do some stretches, get a cup of tea or get a breath of fresh air.
Emma Aitken, national campaigns manager for the trust, said: “Everyone deserves to have time to relax and get away from it all, whether it’s time spent on your own or with friends and family. For millions of people their local canal or river provides space where they can step out of the pressures of the modern world and experience some real quality time."
