FIRST aid training is taking place at St John's Community Centre in Swanpool Walk, St John's, Worcester tomorrow (Friday) between 10am and 1pm.

The session, organised by West Side Neighbourhood Watch, aims to offer valuable tips about how you can help if someone falls ill and teach life-saving skills courtesy of the BHF Heartstart programme. The session is free although a donation is requested.

A certificate is provided at end of course issued by BHF. For more information call Graham Houghton on 01905 425382 or email grahamwhoughton@sky.com. Only 20 places are available. Tea and coffee is available. NHS Health Trainers will also be present and free health MOTs are available.

There is a further session at the centre on Saturday, November 1 between 10am and 3pm, raising money for a Leukaemia Care. There will be tea, coffee and cake, a tombola, a raffle, craft items for sale.
