THERE will be the chance to meet guide dogs making a difference to the lives of the blind and partially sited in Pershore this Saturday.

The Guide Dogs Mobility Team will be in Chapman Court, outside Asda, in Pershore between noon and 6pm on Saturday offering information on the charity, chatting about volunteering opportunities, collecting donations and also selling Christmas gifts and accessories.

As one of the mayor of Pershore's chosen charities this year they are hoping people in the town will get behind the charity.

Mayor Tony Rowley said: “I am delighted to support Guide Dogs during my first year as Mayor of Pershore.

"Guide Dogs are a wonderful charity giving hope and freedom to so many, young and old, to be able to live life as fully as possible."
