TRAVELLERS have moved on to a field a stone's throw away from Worcestershire Royal Hospital.
Around 15 caravans gained access to the site off Newtown Road, next to the Perry Manor Care home, on Saturday afternoon.
One resident described "a steady stream of caravans flood[ing] onto the land" after 3pm.
Your Worcester News spoke to some of the travellers, with one woman who has moved on to the site saying she "was used to people moaning" about their activities.
West Mercia Police Inspector Mark Reilly said the force was aware the travellers had set up an encampment and would continue to monitor the situation.
He said Safer Neighbourhood Team officers will be conducting periodic patrols of the area and working closely with the hospital's security team.
Insp Reilly confirmed the landowner hopes to press ahead with legal action to evict the travellers today (Monday).
