Worcester News: Flooding on Hylton Road in 2012 Flooding on Hylton Road in 2012

ONE of the busiest roads out of Worcester will be closed for two hours tonight while water pumps are installed.

The road – home to the headquarters of your Worcester News – will be closed from McDonalds at the Hylton Retail Park to the junction with Henwick Road from 6.30pm until 8.30pm.

The pumps will help divert floodwater from the road, which is frequently flooded when the River Severn bursts its banks.
