KIND-hearted people have come forward to help boost an orchard left depleted when newly-planted trees were stolen.
As your Worcester News previously reported, volunteers who had helped plant the 15
trees at Aconbury Orchard just before Christmas were left distraught when half a dozen of the saplings were taken on two separate days within a fortnight of going in the ground.
But after we highlighted the plight of the orchard, off Newtown Road, a number of residents living nearby have offered money to replace the missing and damaged fruit trees.
