THE founder of a Worcester-based home care services provider for those who rely on daily support has thrown her support behind a national campaign raising awareness of patient dignity.
Saturday's Dignity Action Day has won the support of Radfield Home Care founder Dr Hannah MacKechnie, who said it was important all those using health and social care or community services were treated with the respect they deserve.
“It’s a campaign we feel very passionately about," she said.
"Many of our clients depend on the support shown by our staff, and as dignity champions we truly believe that it is their basic human right to be treated with compassion and respect.
"To maintain this way of thinking across our dedicated team of carers we deliver ongoing training as well as support and guidance to ensure our team provide the utmost care and compassion to our clients."
