Residents are being invited to climb about the gleaming carriages of the train on a special trip to Bath on Saturday, September 20 for a journey which will recall the Golden Age of sophisticated train travel.

Already more than 80 tickets have been snapped up for the exclusive journey which is one of the major events celebrating St Richard’s Hospice's 30th anniversary in 2014.

Rachel Jones, of St Richard’s Hospice, said: “We will be starting in Worcester where guests can enjoy a glass of Bellini and a delicious brunch and travel in the lap of luxury to the historic city of Bath.

"Then returning on the train in the early evening they will be served a delicious three course meal, champagne and wine whilst gliding through the countryside.

“There will be superb cuisine, impeccable service and a few special St Richard’s touches, making this a memorable day out. If you are planning a special celebration as a Valentine’s present, for a birthday or anniversary this would be just the ticket.”

Tickets on the train, which is a sister train to the renowned Venice Simplon Orient-Express, are £380 per person and sponsorship packages available.
