A 53 year-old woman escaped serious injury despite being in a crash with an articulated lorry earlier today.
The woman, who was the only person in the vehicle, suffered neck and shoulder injuries, as well as effects of shock, and was taken to Worcestershire Royal Hospital.
A spokeswoman for West Midlands Ambulance Service confirmed an ambulance, a paramedic area support officer and a senior paramedic officer attended the scene on the the A456 Park Butts Ringway, Kidderminster, at around 10am.
The driver of the lorry, a man, was uninjured.
