Firefighters rescue teenager from Malvern Hills

Worcester News: (4472121) (4472121)

A TEENAGER had to be rescued by firefighters after falling while out on the Malvern Hills.

Hereford and Worcester Fire & Rescue Service were called at about 6.20pm yesterday (Saturday) by the ambulance service who needed help in transporting the 16-year-old down from the hill.

A crew from Malvern used an Argocat - a special off-road vehicle ideal for woodland areas and remote and steep upland grass land - to reach the teenager who was injured and transported her back down to the waiting paramedics.

The rescue operation took about an hour-and-a-half once the girl had been found and she was left in the care of West Midlands Ambulance Service.

she wasn't injured, she was out of her head, totally paraletic, drunk... and the reason we know my teenage son and his four friends came to her aid and had to call the emergency services.

It's true the girl was hammered due to alcohol. What a waste of resources that may have been required somewhere else.
