Worcester News: Crackdown on drug dealing in Warndon Crackdown on drug dealing in Warndon

POLICE are cracking down on drug dealing in the Warndon area of Worcester.

Community Support Officers are working with police and Worcester Community Housing to gather intelligence and carry out warrants on properties believed to be used for drug dealing.

Police are also carrying out stop searches in the area to deter dealers.

I've friends who are considering moving to Worcester from Bristol and I've recommended Warndon as a nice area close to junction 6 with lots of lovely roads with decently priced detached houses. It's shocking to know that there's any kind of a drugs problem there.

I think you might be confusing old Warndon with New Warndon Villages.

Sad to say drugs are not just in old Warndon they appear everywhere, its a never ending battle to sort and i think the penalties are not severe enough at the start, i believe its self inflicted and you should pay for treatment when and if its ever needed, same as getting drunk binge drinking, why should the taxpayer pick up the bill?
