AN outdoor shop in Worcester has played a part in attracting donations of clothes.
The Rohan store in Broad Street, Worcester city centre, has run its Gift Your Gear appeal since the beginning of March.
The donations helped Rohan collect more than 9,000 items of clothing nationwide.
It will be given to people to benefit from life-changing outdoor experiences, regardless of their circumstances, by providing them with suitable outdoor gear.
Worcester branch manager Nigel Mee said: "We’ve been encouraging people to bring any unwanted, but usable, outdoor trousers, jackets and fleeces into the shop.
"These items will now be donated to local community organisations, youth groups and charities for outdoor projects."
