A YOUNG boy was pushed off his bike, which was then stolen, in a robbery in Stourport on the Riverside Park at the weekend.
The theft took place at about 6.50pm on Saturday, April 26, when the victim was with his friends in the park.
He was approached by a youth he did not know who pushed him on his right shoulder causing him to fall of his bike.
He was not hurt but the boy took his Social bike, worth £250, heading towards the fair on the river side.
The bike is described as orange with a gold chain. It had a black seat with black rims, and had shiny orange circle stickers on the frame.
The offender is described as short, with curly black hair, quite fat, and wearing jeans, a black and blue tracksuit jumper
Police are appeal for any witnesses to the robbery or anyone who has been offered the chance to buy the bike to contact PC Parmer on the non-emergency number 101 quoting incident 574-s-260414 or ring the independent Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
