A Worcester primary school has been praised by Ofsted inspectors.
Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic primary school was ranked as good by inspectors after they visited the Bransford Road school.
Pupils were described as making good and sometimes outstanding progress in key stages 1 and 2, leaving school with standards above national averages and doing particularly well in maths.
The children were said to start school with skills and knowledge typical for their age and make good progress.
Attainment in reading, writing and maths has risen steadily for three years and those leaving in year 6 in 2013 were achieving standards above the national average in reading, writing and maths.
All pupils made at least expected progress with more than the national average doing better than expected in all three subjects.
Disabled pupils and those with special educational needs made good progress but inspectors found the gaps in attainment between pupils supported by the pupil premium and their peers were not closing quickly enough.
Inspectors found the quality of teaching was good and some was outstanding.
Strong relationships were in place which led to a positive atmosphere for learning in lessons and children were given time to read and respond to comments about their work.
The behaviour and safety of pupils was described as outstanding.
Pupils attitudes to learning were extremely positive and inspectors described them as very respectful and the school's atmosphere as calm and harmonious.
No child has been excluded for three years.
The leadership and management of the school was rated as good.
The headteacher was described as determined to raise achievement and had put in places schemes and strategies to improve the quality of teaching.
Inspectors also found good systems in place to monitor the progress and attainment of pupils.
The governors were said to know the school well and have a clear understanding of its strengths and weaknesses.
Inspectors found governors visited the school regularly and set challenging targets.
