Black country men jailed for Midlands-wide burglary series

TWO prolific Black Country burglars have been jailed for a series of break-ins across the Midlands, including some in Worcestershire.

Mark Toogood, aged 28, of Stourbridge Road, Dudley, was jailed for nine years and Matthew Clinton Brookes, also 28, of Field Road, Princes End, Tipton, was jailed for seven and a half years.

Both admitted conspiracy to burgle addresses in Staffordshire, Worcestershire and Shropshire. They were sentenced by Judge Robert Juckes at Worcester crown court on Wednesday, May 21.
