SIX fresh stand-up comedians will hope to hear the sound of laughter next week.
Raw Comedy returns to the foyer bar of the Evesham Arts Centre on Friday, June 27, giving each comic a chance to try out 10 to 15 minutes of material and hone their skills.
There will be Birmingham-based brothers Paul and Andrew Nightingale, the puns and one-line gags of Richard Pulsford, the inventive Bisha K Ali, the youthful Alex Hylton and Jon Pearson, the pie-eating Beano-reader from Melton Mowbray.
Overseeing proceedings will be posh and proud MC Matthew Baylis.
The show starts at 8pm and tickets are £4 in advance or £5 on the door (concessions £3).
