POLICE are appealing for witnesses following an assault on a woman in Worcester.

The 37 year-old was injured following the assault, which happen in Foregate Street, at around 10.25pm, on Friday, June 13.

The woman is believed to have been the victim of an unprovoked assault by another woman, leaving her with a bloody nose and lip.

The alleged attacker was described as being white, in her mid 20s, about 5ft 2inches and of petite build.

She has distinctive hair; shaved peroxide blonde on one side and longer on the other side.

The shaved side of the head was tattooed and she also had tattoos on her arms.

Her legs were also described as being heavily tattooed.

She was wearing a denim pair of short dungarees with a white T-shirt underneath.

She was accompanied by another woman and a man.

The other woman is described as being white, in her mid 20s, with blonde hair in a fringe and wearing a white T-shirt and beige full skirt.

The male is described as being white, in his mid 20s, about 5ft 10inches, with short dark wavy hair and stubble and wearing dark clothing.

He was riding a small BMX bike. Anyone with information is asked to call 101, quoting reference number 0960s 130614.
