A MAN has been arrested after police received reports of shots being fired in Evesham.

Armed officers and dog units were called to reports of a man firing shots from what appeared to be a firearm in Summerfield Gardens at 11.55am this morning.

A man in his 20s was arrested and a replica firearm was recovered from the scene.

He remained in custody at Worcester Police Station.

A large police presence remained on the ground in the town as investigations continued and to provide reassurance to local people in the area.

Acting in response to the incident, a marked armed response vehicle was en route to the scene when it was involved in a collision with a silver Ford Fiesta.

There were no reported injuries.

Wonder if Worst Farcia will be appealing for witnesses to that one? - Strangely as predicted they've gone quiet about the one on Ombersley Road No Doubt they think we've all forgotten about it, and so no doubt it can be brushed under the carpet...

So that is the second Police car to crash innocent bystanders in 3 weeks.
This is low quality Police work .
