A HANDY fundraiser to show support for disabled children taking part in leisure activities has gotten off to an uplifting start.
New Hope launched the Hands of Hope appeal two weeks ago and pictures of people with smiley faces drawn on the palms of their hands have come flooding in.
People have also put their hands in their pockets and raised £155 so far to pay for activities for children supported by the charity, based on Wells Road, Ronkswood.
To get involved, send pictures to the charity on Facebook or on Twitter using #HandsOfHope and to donate text hand79 £2 to 70070.
