THE stage is set for youngsters from a performing arts school to have their moment in the spotlight for a television talent show's auditions.

Children from All Sorts of Performing Arts, based in Worcester, are excitedly preparing for the auditions for the popular show - the identity of which they have had to keep under wraps for now.

The youngsters, aged from six, have begun preparing for the audition in front of the show's producers in October.

Their performance will feature a mixture of skills including young singers, dancers and actors and will give them a taste of performing in front of professionals.

It is an exciting time for the school which is also auditioning for roles in its Christmas pantomime Aladdin - the first panto to be held at Worcester Arts Workshop.

They are searching for an adult male to take the part of the dame in the show which will be the traditional tale of Aladdin given a modern twist.

Auditions will be held in July and August for the pantomime which will star a cast of 15 aged from six to 18.

All Sorts has only been running for three months with classes at Worcester Arts Workshop, Sansome Street.

Children and adults wishing to audition for Aladdin should email allsorts.pa@gmail.com.
