DRAGONS, night-creatures, mysterious wolves and the SAS are a combustible mix in a new book by a Herefordshire author.
M.E. Holley of Weobley set her first book, Legend of the Heart Eaters, in in the Welsh Borders, but her second book, Menace of the Nigh Creatures, moves the action moves to London and the Arctic.
She said: "I got a lot of good advice from people in the RAF and SAS. Although the book is fantasy, it is set in real places and I wanted to make it as believable as possible. That's why I asked a former pilot to advise me on dragon flight."
She added: "Much to my surprise, he was able to help."
Menace of the Night Creatures is in the book shops now, at £6.99 a copy.
