THE inquest into the death of 48-year-old grandfather, Christopher Willmott, of Ambleside Drive, Worcester, has opened today.
The Worcester man was killed when he was struck by a car in Cotswold Way, Blackpole, Worcester, in the early hours of Friday, August 1.
The Worcestershire Coroners Service has adjourned the inquest under the Coroners and Justice Act 2009 as the driver of the car, Helder Dasilver Pina, will face trial at Worcester Crown Court on November 24.
Pina, aged 34, has been charged with causing death by dangerous driving.
