A MAN has been arrested following a blaze at a convenience store on Bromyard Road.
The 35-year-old is currently in custody at Worcester Police Station after being arrested on suspicion of arson with intent to endanger life following a fire at Boughton Stores.
Police and firefighters were called to the blaze at 1.30am this morning.
The fire, which involved a number of gas canisters, caused damage to the shop and the house attached to the shop as well as to a car parked in front of the shop and three cars belonging to the Hylton Nissan dealership next door.
A number of residents also had to be evacuated from the area.
