WORCESTER residents can have their say on new licensing rules for the opening of sexual entertainment venues in the city.
Worcester City Council is introducing new licensing rules for the opening of sex shops, sex cinemas and other venues which could stop licenses being granted if, for example, the applicant is considered unsuitable or the character of a city area could be adversely affected.
The council wants to hear the views of local people on the draft policy, which can be read by visiting www.worcester.gov.uk/voiceit.
Members of the public have until October 24 to have their say, which can also be done by writing to Licensing, Worcestershire Regulatory Services, Wyatt House, The Butts, Worcester, WR1 2PA.
