POLICE are appealing for witnesses after an 81 year old woman died following a car crash in Worcestershire.
The woman, from Rubery, Bromsgrove, was a passenger in a Silver Volkswagen Polo when it was in a collision with a Blue Citroen C1 at just after 7pm yesterday (Saturday 23 August).
The crash happened in Bell End, near Belbroughton, near the Bell public house. She was pronounced dead at Russells Hall Hospital.
The female driver and a male passenger in the Polo were treated for minor injuries at Russells Hall Hospital.
The female driver of the Citroen was taken to Queen Elizabeth Hospital with minor injuries.
The driver of a third car involved in the incident, a grey Ford Mondeo, was uninjured.
Anyone with information is asked to call 101, quoting incident number 0615s of Saturday 23 August.
