A summer ball has raised thousands of pounds to help rebuild a village in Nepal devastated by an earthquake earlier this year.
More than 200 people attended the ball in aid of not-for-profit organisation Rebuild Nepal, set up by paramedics Ed Hullah and Phil Llewellyn who visited the country following its first earthquake 80km north-west of the capital Kathmandu.
At the time, their mission was to help with the humanitarian rescue and during their visit there was a second earthquake near the Chinese border.
The organisation raises funds to help provide safer earthquake-resistant houses and public buildings, and the
£6, 222 will fund the building of four new houses.
Phil Llewellyn, of Norton, Worcester, said: "It was a great event and it was good to see people coming out to support it.
"I'm pleased with the amount raised, it will help a lot of people but there's more work to do yet."
The event went ahead at The Bank House Hotel, in Bransford, and included a raffle, live music, a presentation on his initial trip by Mr Llewellyn and more.
