DON'T forget the sun cream and umbrellas if you are venturing out this weekend with the weather predicted be a mixture of sunshine and showers.

Paul Michaelwaite, from Pershore-based netweather.tv, said temperatures will be "nothing too exciting or dramatic" with relatively cool average temperatures.

The weatherman said: "Saturday is expected to may squeeze 20C but is more likely to reach between 17C and 19C.

"There will be some sunnier moments and showers could be coming through."

He added that Sunday would not be too different.

"There's a lower risk of showers but temperatures will be down to 17C/18C.

"It will be fairly breezy but shelter and sunshine should make for a nice day."

Next week also predicted to be similar - but with a higher risk of rain showers.

"It is expected to be much the same story next week - a mixture but we might see some rain but it is quite tricky to tell at the moment.

"It may miss us to the south.

"It will stay mostly mostly dry with some rain trying to come through later in the day.

"It will be much the same throughout next week.

"I think we will have longer spells of rain Tuesday and Wednesday perhaps warming up after that."
