WARM up your vocal chords for a festive evening of Christmas carols at Worcester Guildhall.
The city's mayor, Councillor Paul Denham, is inviting everyone along to enjoy the service at 7.30pm on Friday, December 9.
Along with singing and music by the Elgar Chorale, there will be readings from guests such as Sir Roy Strong, former director of the National Portrait Gallery and the Victoria and Albert Museum.
Cllr Denham said: "There's nothing like a carol concert to get you in the festive mood. I hope that many people will come along to what is sure to be a wonderful evening of music and merriment!"
Tickets cost £10 for adults and £5 for children and can be bought on the door, or from the Tourist Information Office.
All proceeds from the night will be donated to the Mayor's charities: the Midlands Air Ambulance and the Youth Hostel Association’s Breaks for Kids programme.
