FAMILIES are invited to attend an informal church service themed around 'light and dark' this weekend.
The 45-minute service takes place at St Andrew's Church in Droitwich at 3pm on Sunday, October 23, and includes interactive activities for children.
The Reverend Bev Jameson, team vicar of Droitwich Spa, Salwarpe and Hindlip with Martin Hussingtree, said: "It is a great informal relaxed service for anyone of any age, and we always have enough delicious homemade cake to sink a battleship."
Children will be able to hunt for treasure using torches inside the church, and there will be songs and glow sticks to take home.
Jenny Smith, who attended last month's service, said: "The whole family really enjoyed the harvest service in September and we are very much looking forward to coming along to the light and dark service on Sunday, October 23."
