SLANEY Sir Geoffrey KBE Emeritus Professor of Surgery, University of Birmingham. Much loved husband, father and grandfather. Died peacefully at home on January 29th, 2016, aged 93. Funeral Service to be held at Redditch Crematorium, Bordesley Lane, B97 6RR on Friday, February 26th at 11.45 a.m., followed by a reception. No flowers please, but donations, if desired to Royal College of Surgeons of England, c/o E J Gumery & Son, 68-70 Ombersley Road, Worcester, WR3 7EU to establish a Memorial Prize in Surgery.
