Cycling for leukaemia fundraiser

CHILDREN can help raise cash to fight the battle against leukaemia through the Greenwich Blue Peter Bikeathon.

Set to take place on May 5, on the Greenwich peninsula, the event will be fully marshalled and away from traffic.

Youngsters will be able to complete as many laps as they want within the two-hour time limit.

Cyclists will join thousands of others from across the country taking part in events. Last year cyclists in Greenwich raised £14,810.92.

Entry details are available on www.bbc.co.uk/bluepeter/ or by sending an SAE to Greenwich Blue Peter Bikeathon, PO Box 1234, London, WC1R 4XA.
