That’s what is next for the Warriors. A very tough match to keep the momentum going from the win at Saints on Monday. There will be the usual core of support going down to High Wycombe to
shout and sing our heads off at every opportunity. The away Warriors supporter is a very noisy species, of which I am one, and very proud of our selves we are too. It’s great when a player or
players turn and smile at us as we make as much noise as we possibly can.
But only when we should, we keep quite during kicks as is the tradition in Rugby Union. A tradition, which seems to be under siege in some parts of the Rugby world, where the opposition kicker is
booed and catcalled as they concentrate on their kick. There places such as Sixways, Turmond Park (Where Munster play ) and most of the premiership grounds where the shushing round the ground just as
the player places the ball for the kick is still the only thing to be heard. At the end of last season I sat amongst 70 or 80 thousand spectators in the Millennium Stadium in Cardiff in total silence
as a kick was about to be taken.
So lets hope the Warriors take the sting out of the Wasps and come back with more than nothing…. Fingers Crossed and voice at the ready.
