I Wanna Rock n Roll All Night...And Party Every Day

Well not literally, it’s a line from the song “Rock n Roll All Night” by Kiss and I’m listening to it because I’m addicted to Family Jewels at the moment and I am not ashamed to admit that I can’t stop watching it.

Family Jewels is a reality TV series a bit similar to The Osbournes that follows rock star Gene Simmond’s, member of glam rock band Kiss, with his long-standing partner Shannon and his two children Nick and Sophie. I love the show and I’m amazed that his kids are actually normal given that he has lived a rock and roll lifestyle all these years and had more women than he’s probably had hot dinners!

So this has started off a huge Kiss revival for me and I’ve been listening to their stuff non-stop for a while now. I grew up with Kiss as my Mum was a huge fan and I always loved them, but hadn’t listened to them much for the last couple of years or so. I love Paul Stanley and Gene Simmonds although I must confess I prefer them with their make up and stage persona rather than when they decided to Unmask in the early 1980’s.

But for now I’m going to “Shout It Shout It Shout It Out Loud”, go and visit “Detroit Rock City”, fire my “Love Gun”, drink some “Cold Gin” and have some “Crazy Crazy Nights”.

Okay so I'm sad, but I don't care :)
