Dour Draw???

That's what some of the reports of Friday night's game against Wasps had to say about the game. Well most Warrior fans I know didn't think so. I was on the edge of my seat for most of the game. It went their way then ours. Both defences were just phenomenal to say the least, some of the tackles were bone crunching.

It was the first time I have seen the likes of Lawrence Dallaglio, Josh Lewsey and Joe Worsley at Sixways. It was a very interesting game both sides seemed to have the measure of the other, but instead of a boring stalemate of a game it was enthralling, well for me it was.
The noise from the support was just great. There were a bunch of guys in the middle at the back of the North Stand having a whale of a time starting up the chants, it seemed roll round the ground from the North to the East, South and West stands through the bar standing area back to the North. It was great, really adding to the atmosphere. There a group that have horns in the East Stand and when the Wasps hooker went to throw the ball in at a line out a tremendous amount of noise was directed at him. Great fun and when Raphael Ibanez, a French International, came on as replacement hooker he did gesture at us to make more noise...So we duly obliged!!!

The players get a couple of weeks off playing as the next game isn't until 17th Feb against Leicester Tigers, not a team of any note at all...... It's not a Friday night game again but it's going to be just as much fun. For those of you who can't get to Sixways it's on Sky Sports too. The Tigers may be short an international player or 12 so the Warriors could do some real damage.

I really like the advertising campaign the club are running for the game... It has a very cute kitten on it!! Hope the Tigers don't take it too personally!!!
