Just got tougher, it was going to be difficult to get off the foot of the table before Saturday’s matches, Worcester lost to Gloucester and Northampton Saints beat Leicester means so there
is now a 7 point gap and Saints have a game in hand.
So now it looks like only a miracle will save the Warriors from playing their rugby in National Division One next season.
There is going to some fallout, with playing and non playing staff parting company with the club but we can only hope that the result will be an organisation that can bounce back into the Premiership
for 2008/9.
Quite a few of the 9,500 supporters won’t be back until then I suspect. So it will be easier to get a ticket to the matches for a season. I will still keep my season ticket as it saves a bit of
money and I like where I sit in the East Stand.
It’s really disappointing that The Warriors have not been able to maintain top flight status but here’s to a successful season in Div 1 and being more prepared for the Premiership next
time.
