So it’s goodbye to John Brain

And Hello to Mike Ruddock. I have to say I am truly gutted by John leaving. The man has given all he had to Worcester Warriors and so much pleasure to the rugby going public of the city. I hope that he will find success and happiness in what he does next, after he has had a long, long holiday to recover from the pressures of the last season.

He goes having put right the mess that the team had got into and made good on his promise to fight to the end. It was great to see the affection and respect the players had for him at the end of the game on Saturday. I can only echo that.
