In the few days leading up to the Easter recess several important events occurred.
As I write this on Wednesday morning before the paper’s deadline I am looking forward to two exciting events and great opportunities today.
I have been to some useful briefings this week. One was from representatives of Citizens Advice Bureaux (CAB) to publicise the imminent Third Reading in the House of Lords of the Tribunals, Courts and Enforcement Bill and to launch their campaign for new rules to regulate bailiffs.
Coming back to the Commons after a Christmas holiday at home is like going back to boarding school, but one soon settles into the routine – train to London on a Monday and return home late on a Thursday.
