MAGIC Whiteboard, the brainchild of Worcester entrepreneurs Neil and Laura Westwood, has gone on sale in 75 Sainsbury's stores across the UK. The deal has been secured through Dragons' Den star Theo Paphitis, who backed the couple's business idea after they appeared on the TV programme in 2008.

Mr Paphitis said: "Magic Whiteboard is my most successful investment from Dragons’ Den and we are really excited about expanding across the UK with Sainsbury’s.” Mr Westwood added: "This is a big moment for us, we are expanding, employing more people and sales are increasing. This deal with Sainsbury’s is great news.”

Magic Whiteboard allows the creation of a portable whiteboard from a roll anywhere, in seconds. It clings using static to any hard flat surface and leaves no marks. It can be written on with any dry marker, wiped clean and reused.

Dragons Deborah Meaden and Mr Paphitis invested £100,000 for 40 per cent of Magic Whiteboard. It is now their most successful investment with sales of more than £1.2 million and sales in more than 20 countries worldwide.
