AS the 2014 Superbike and Moto GP season gets under way, businesswoman Louisa Harker is celebrating getting into the fast lane with her export sales and now needs more staff. Mrs Harker, who lives at Naunton Beauchamp, near Pershore, is managing director of specialist motorbike industry supplier Pro-Bolt, which provides high quality titanium, aluminium and stainless steel bolts and fasteners to the majority of the British, World Superbike and Moto GP teams.

Two months ago the company, which is based in Tewkesbury, reviewed its export sales strategy and Mrs Harker said: "Stream lining our sales channels so they meet the needs of our customers was really time-consuming, but important because we sell a technically complicated product. However, two months in I’m very pleased with the results. This move has allowed us to take our innovation and customisation to the next level, whilst still supplying practical and unique products and designs. I knew there was a market for our product overseas but I had no idea the new sales channels would take off so quickly.”

Constant development of the product ranges had led to an impressive range of clients like Audi, Marussia F1, Seat Sport, Lotus Cars, Rolls Royce Cars, Koenigsegg, Morgan Cars, WSB Pata Honda Racing, Moto GP Marc VDS, Moto GP Team FTR Kawasaki, Padgetts Honda & Walt Disney .

Mrs Harker added: "Our rapid expansion means that we now need a full-time website developer who can ensure our sites stay up to date with demand. I’d prefer someone who loves motorbikes too, but if not, a developer who likes aeroplanes or power boat racing would do. "
