LAW firm Harrison Clark Rickerbys has been awarded the Law Society's international practice management standard Lexcel, for another three years, which endorses its commitment to client care and best practice. Lexcel is only awarded to solicitors which meet the highest levels of management and customer care and accredited practices undergo rigorous independent assessments every year to ensure they meet required standards of excellence in areas such as client care, case management and risk management.

Barbara Marsh, Lexcel assessor, said: "Harrison Clark Rickerbys has grown rapidly in the last few years, expanding from two to five offices. Across the firm as a whole, there is a culture of “doing things right” and putting the client at the heart of the business. Staff are passionate about client care."

Caroline Irvine, partner at Harrison Clark Rickerbys, added: "We are proud to have secured our Lexcel standard for the next three years and to be recognised as a firm that excels in practice management and customer care. Providing our clients with the highest levels of client care is one of the firm's core values. This accreditation is proof of our commitment to delivering a quality service to all of our clients."

In addition to its recognition for the highest levels of client care, Harrison Clark Rickerbys was also recognised by the Lexcel assessors for its effective firm-wide communication, particularly following the completion of the merger between Harrison Clark and Rickerbys in October 2013. The firm was also complimented for its encouragement for input and engagement from different departments into the business planning process, giving staff a greater sense of empowerment and involvement. As already recognised by Investors in People, the firm also received praise from Lexcel for its strong commitment to staff development.
