A VISIT to Malvern's Royal Three Counties Show proved an uplifting experience for Susanna Emsley and her two children when they won £250 for guessing the number of Dalmatian-shaped balloons in a tractor cab.

Mrs Emsley of Chatley, near Ombersley together with Kate, aged 12 and William, aged 10, paid a visit to the marquee of regional law firm Harrison Clark Rickerby for tea, coffee, cake and Pimms. Visitors were also asked to look out for a Tallis Amos tractor at the south gate entrance and guess the number of Dalmatian balloons in the cab. The Emsley team, with the children doing most of the guessing, came up with seven balloons as the winning answer.

Mrs Elmsley said: "I loved the idea of this competition and thought that it fitted the theme of the show perfectly. It was a fantastic surprise to hear that I had won and my children will no doubt be benefitting from the prize money."

Dawn Oliver, partner and head of Harrison Clark Rickerbys' private client team, added: "We very much enjoyed attending this year's Royal Three Counties Show and we were particularly pleased at the interest in our competition. It was a fantastic event that was very well received by the thousands of visitors and we very much look forward to attending again next year."
