WEBBS Garden centre at Wychbold, near Droitwich, has once again come out top of the crops.

It has retained its title as the best destination garden centre in the Midlands after an assessment by judges of the the Garden Centre Association, the organisation representing the best garden retailers in Britain.

As well as being named the top destination garden centre over £3m in the region, Webbs, Wychbold also came out first in the category for best plant retailer, indoor lifestyle and outdoor living departments. It was runner-up in categories for customer services, garden centre products retailer, restaurant and for creativity and innovation. Webbs also received 15 further awards of merit.

Chairman Edward Webb said: “It’s a fantastic achievement all round to take the title with such tough competition in the region and I’m immensely proud of all the staff. We strive to be the best across all areas and it’s a pleasure to have our work recognised by the GCA. It also gives our visitors confidence that they will have a truly excellent experience when they come to Webbs.”

Webbs has won many awards over the years ensuring it is consistently among the top garden centres in the country. The family business includes the garden centre at Wychbold and beautiful landscaped riverside gardens which are open free to the public. Webbs also has a garden centre at West Hagley and an online store.
