LIFE really must be magic for Worcester entrepreneurs Neil and Laura Westwood right now as their innovative stationery company goes from strength to strength.

The husband and wife team from Warndon Villages first shot to fame back in 2008 when their Magic Whiteboard idea - based on a roll-formwhiteboard - received backing from the millionaire business gurus on the Dragons' Den TV programme. Now comes the latest in a range of imaginative products from the couple with the launch of a Magic Notebook to create an erasable and reusable whiteboard notebook.

"We got the idea after we noticed how much paper we were using in the office," explained Mr Westwood, who was a manager at Worcestershire Royal Hospital before hitting the business big time. "We had to think about what we could do to solve the problem and the result is the Magic Notebook. This has 60 easily tear-out, perforated and reusable pages and comes in A4 and A5 plain versions.

"Reusable notebooks are great for writing notes, taking phone messages, generating ideas, playing games, doodling, for writing at school and for doing homework. When you use the correctable dry erase pen which comes with the notebook, the ink dries after 10 seconds and will not smudge. If you want to make any changes or corrections to your work just use the eraser on the end of the pen. You can easily tear out the perforated pages and print to the A4 notebook sheets using a laser printer. You can also create your own reusable calendars, reusable weekly planners and reusable to do lists. We are marketing the notebooks with the slogan 'Saves paper and saves you money'."

The product , which will retail at £20, is being launched on the market at the end of September and has already attracted more than 500 advance orders with customers ranging from creative designers to primary schools.

"Magic Whiteboard continues to grow and expand," Mr Westwood added. "This year we have moved into supplying Sainsburys and next March we are going to start supplying Tesco."
