COMPANIES are to be shown how to use psychology and personality profiling to do more business at a free breakfast meeting.

Finditinworcestershire’s Insights for Better Business breakfast and networking meeting will take place at Worcester Warriors’ Sixways Stadium from 6.45am to 9.30am on Tuesday, October 21.

Speaker Peter Johnson will show delegates how to use the Insights Discovery profiling system to identify their own strengths and weaknesses, improve their understanding of others and work together more effectively. Mr Johnson, of Worcester-based Project in Mind Ltd, was the first person in the world to be accredited as an Insights Deeper Discovery practitioner. The system is based on the work of Swiss psychologist Carl Jung and uses a simple and accessible four colour model to understand an individual’s character and preferences.

Delegates can also take part in Finditinworcestershire’s popular open networking session with an average attendance of more than 130 local business leaders, owners and directors. A range of exhibition stands showcasing successful county companies and a complimentary breakfast will also be included.

The special event is free for members of Finditinworcestershire and places can be booked by visiting www.finditinworcestershire.com, where unregistered local businesses can also sign up for free.

"This is an excellent opportunity for local businesses to learn from a proven expert, completely for free," said Kathryn Wagstaff, project manager of Finditinworcestershire. "The Insights Discovery system is a tried and tested means of improving individual skills and team-working. Many high profile organisations have used the system for strengthening business relationships, improving personal achievements, boosting sales performance and making their recruitment more effective, among other benefits. I’m sure we’ll see another great turn-out for Peter Johnson’s invaluable advice.”
